How can I cancel my Smash subscription?

Everything you need to know to cancel your subscription.

Do you want to unsubscribe to Smash? We're really sad to know that.

If you read these lines, let's start off by saying that we are sincerely sorry that Smash doesn't fit with your needs.

Cancel your subscription

  1. Login to your account

  2. On the "Manage plan" card, click on the "Cancel plan" button

Then, you'll find this window:

Interactions with our users matter a lot to us — the positive ones, of course, but also the more critical ones. Sure, it’s always nicer to read kind words from happy users, but we’re always open to discussion, and above all, we want to keep improving.

We can only continue this journey toward a better service with your help and your feedback.

So before you leave us, we’d like to ask a small favour: tell us everything.

Note:

  • Cancelling is not possible through the mobile version, please access to the desktop version.

  • Once cancelled, your subscription will stay active until the anniversary date and you'll retain access to Smash.

  • Cancelling your subscription does not delete your transfers. They stay valid until the end of their availability period. However, you will lose access to your account after your subscription ends unless you restart your plan.

  • To keep using the free version after cancelling, please logout.

Whatever your reason for unsubscribing, we truly hope to see you — and your files — again in the great adventure of file sharing. You’ll always be welcome on Smash.

FAQs

Can I receive a refund when I cancel my subscription?

You may receive a refund for your subscription within the 14-day withdrawal period after the subscription date, once you have submitted your request to our customer support team. If this period has passed, we will review your request and inform you of our decision.

Will my transfers remain valid after I cancel my subscription?

Yes, your transfers remain valid even if you cancel your subscription, up until the end of their availability period.

If I pay monthly, can I change to pay yearly for my subscription?

Yes, you can easily change your billing frequency. To do so, you must first cancel your current subscription through the Administration – Billing account section. Then click on the “change plan” button and select the annual option. Your monthly plan will end as soon as the change is completed. If you prefer, it may be more beneficial to wait a few days before your subscription’s renewal date to make the switch.

You will not lose any of your transfers or settings when making this change.
