On Smash, you can send an entire folder containing multiple files, or upload several files at once — all in just a few clicks.
Just like sending individual files, sending folders on Smash is simple and intuitive.
How to send a folder
You can send folders either by selecting them from your file explorer or by dragging and dropping them directly onto the interface.
On the upload page, an info bubble above the central logo displays helpful tips such as “Click to send your files” and “Long press to send your folders.”
Simply click on the central logo to open your file explorer, then select one or more folders to upload.
Specifics for sending folders on Mac
Mac users, don’t worry — you can absolutely send folders, though the behavior may vary slightly depending on your browser.
On Safari:
You can drag and drop one or more folders, or click the central logo to select one or more folders. Long-pressing to select a folder is not supported.On Chrome:
You can drag and drop one or more folders, or long-press the central logo to select a single folder. Selecting multiple folders via long press is not supported.
There’s no need to zip your folders before sending them.
