On Smash, file transfers are temporary — unlike a storage service. Files are available only for a limited period, defined by the sender.
The default availability period is 7 days, both for free users and paid accounts.
If you’re reading this page, it’s likely because the transfer you’re trying to access is no longer available. Its availability period has expired.
Once a transfer expires, the files are automatically deleted from our servers. For security reasons, we cannot recover them.
Note: once files are deleted from our servers, there is no way to reactivate an expired transfer.
But there’s still one last option: we recommend contacting the sender to ask if they can resend the files. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for you!
