With the Smash iOS app, you can easily send files from your iPhone or iPad. Whether you want to share large videos or transfer dozens of high-resolution photos, all types of files can be sent with no size limit directly from your iPhone or iPad.
If you need to download all the received files, a .zip file will be created. To open it on your iPhone or iPad, we admit it is not the most intuitive process.
So here is a simple step-by-step guide to help you:
Tap the Smash link that was shared with you.
At the bottom of the page, choose “Download all as a .zip file”.
Confirm the download by tapping “Download”.
Once the file is downloaded, tap the download icon (bottom left of the screen), then tap “Downloads”.
Click on the file, and the “Downloads” folder will open.
Simply tap the .zip file to unzip it. By tapping it, the file is automatically extracted. A new folder will then be created. There you go! Your files are inside that folder.
To save the files: tap each file, then tap the icon at the bottom left and choose “Save Image”. Your files will then be available in your “Photos” or “Files” app.
It is simpler than it looks, no worries. ;)
