Using Smash for free is already great. But with a paid plan, it's even better: your transfers get priority delivery. On top of that, Smash turns them into a real communication asset. With design customization, promotional pop-ins, and branded emails, you showcase your brand. Your transfers become as unique as you are.

For transfers over 2 GB sent with the free version of Smash, you'll need a bit of patience. They aren't prioritized, unlike those from Smash Premium subscribers. They're uploaded to our servers and sent after a waiting period. Think of it like flying economy: if the person next to you has a fast-track business class ticket, they'll board before you. But don't worry — the plane won't leave without you.

We offer a single Smash Team plan, sized to fit your team: 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 users. Smash Team is the ideal subscription for teams, giving you and your colleagues advanced features to meet your large file transfer needs. Each team member can send and receive files and folders from your custom URL, with their own login credentials. The account administrator manages user permissions: assigning roles, adding or removing members, and more.

On Smash, you choose how long your transfers stay available, from 1 day up to 30 days maximum. Yes, maximum: every transfer is temporary by design, not meant to last forever. Transfers on Smash are a bit like life's little pleasures — you have to enjoy them while they last. By limiting how long your transfers stay available, we bring you along on a shared mission you can be proud of: reducing our carbon footprint. The planet thanks you for using Smash!

We care about letting you offer sending and download pages that look like you. By subscribing to one of our paid plans, you unlock a range of customization features. Starting with the URL of your send/download pages: you choose the name. For example: yourgreatname.fromsmash.com. If you'd like your own domain name in the URL, the CNAME feature — available with the Smash Enterprise plan — is made for that. You're also free to choose the central logo, the background (image or video), and a promotional pop-in linking back to your website. Your interfaces are 100% yours for sending and receiving large files. It reflects well on you, and reassures your recipients.

Receiving large files with Smash is just as simple as sending them! You can receive large files in just a few minutes thanks to a drop-off link. Simply log in to your Smash account, then select "receive mode" in the top right, next to the menu. Click the central button, and a few seconds later you'll have your own secure drop-off link. All that's left is to copy it and share it with whoever you choose, and/or add it to your website. Transfers can then be made by people outside your organization, who get to enjoy the benefits of your subscription too. You can be notified by email whenever you receive a transfer through the drop-off link. By default, the drop-off link is valid for 7 days and allows an unlimited number of transfers. These settings can be changed from your account (see our dedicated FAQ on receiving files for more information). You can use the file-receiving features on Smash's desktop and mobile versions, as well as from the Outlook plugin.

Of course! Smash has no long-term commitment. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. It will automatically end on your renewal date.
